- Taking care of
your residence
- Moving and traveling
about freely
- Personal grooming
- Identifying money
and paying bills
- Keeping records

E-mail, Handwriting, Braille and Recording Devices.
- Resources for assistance,
support and recreation.
- Utilizing remaining
vision.
- Assistance with specialized
services, such as talking books and free directory assistance

How
much do your services cost?
There are no fees for
any services provided by the Independent Living Program. This program
represents an investment by the entire community. It is to everyone's
best interest that each individual has an opportunity to function
with independence.
Who
provides the Independant Living Program services?
We have a statewide
network of service providers. In most counties, local agencies provide
independent living services for the program on a contract basis.
The remaining counties are served by the DSB staff. |
