Helen Livengood McKenzie Library

Lilac Services For The Blind's Library, named in honor of Helen Livengood McKenzie, our dedicated librarian until her death in 1997. The Helen Livengood McKenzie Library provides a free library service of Braille, large print and cassette books. Books are available for loan. The cassettes of the library can be played on any standard cassette player. Lilac Services For The Blind has the only Braille Library in Eastern Washington. The library was remodeled in 2004 and now provides a study/meeting area in a comfortable and attractive setting.
